Here in the 16th century Chateau de Lalande in the heart of France, life goes on in spite of the French lockdown. It's been a crazily dramatic week - I had to make a mad dash from Cambodia, through Bangkok and Dubai, to Nice, in order to make it home to the chateau and to my mother before the borders closed. My relief at being home is immense!
I hope that you're all safe and well wherever you are in the world. And, for those of you in the United Kingdom today:

I finally open all of the exciting parcels that had arrived from all over the world whilst I'd been away. And I'm so, so happy that I wasn't able to open them earlier, because they've brought extraordinary joy to my quarantine. My bedroom is becoming a mini chateau within the chateau!

Here's the latest from my quarantine inside the Chateau de Lalande. It's a beautiful, sunny day, and our new volunteer, Selmar, starts repairing the greenhouse for the season ahead. Mummy's finally able to get in safely and starts planting the seeds for our organic vegetable garden. I'm so looking forward to cooking with the produce! We also have an epic problem in the chateau, and the Elusive Nic heroically comes to our rescue ????????????????????

Here's the latest from my quarantine inside the Chateau de Lalande. It's a chilly day at the chateau as our heating is broken, and this prompts ever stranger outfits from my mother. The pink bobble hat makes its first entrance! I make the most of the bad weather to get on with some much needed decorating in my bedroom, and my mother and I settle down to watch ourselves on tv ????????????
