Lynchburg Public Library held a grand opening on Saturday for the new location of its downtown branch, with free coffee and donuts, raffles and storytime led by City Manager Wynter Benda.

Lynchburg City School Board adopts budget, including elimination of 85 positions

The Lynchburg City School Board unanimously approved its budget Thursday night which includes the proposed level funding total from city council, a 3% staff bonus and the elimination of 85 positions at the division level.
